5 minutes wrist & finger-prehab
RE-/PREHAB: Fingers, wrists. forearms & elbows

4m 44s
THE WHAT:
Once a foundation of more linear wrist & finger strength has been built through some time spent with fundamental mobilisation & strength/mobility-development routines, it is valuable to begin increasing exposure to a wider range of stresses. This is done here by increasing angles of execution, further to incorporating dedicated FINGER-strength & mobility work which can be supportive for a range of applied movement-training contexts & sports/disciplines.
This particular routine also focuses on higher repetition and variety of angles toward ongoing wrist strength & mobility development. Because of the angles, in many cases the movement cannot go through as full a range of motion (ROM) as when performed in other routines. Simply express as full a ROM as possible.

Lifting a heavy load, and walking. Two fundamental facts of life which, at first glance, can seem of insufficient intensity to compare to the likes of a 'Back squat' or 'Deadlift' - but there is a reason why forms of loaded-carrying are a staple of all 'Strongman' events. The load can ...
