Bilateral prone external rotation (ER)
RE-/PREHAB: Shoulders, scap & neck
•
2m 31s
THE WHAT:
A convenient pre-/rehabilitation context for developing strength & range in frontal-plane external rotation (ER), and generally contributing toward improved shoulder-stability.
It is a valuable context of practice either in addition to, or in place of, UNILATERAL variations which are generally more comprehensive as they attend to a greater range of ER angles (i.e. frontal, sagittal and others between), further to helping the practitioner better-identify any capacity or patterning-discrepancies between left & right sides.
