THE WHAT:
Fundamental tools for mobilizing the musculoskeletal tissues of breathing organs. Be sure to progress SENSITIVELY, working on an EMPTY stomach (preferably first thing in the morning). Please note that the three 'levels' presented here are completely SUBJECTIVE. This means that, whilst increasing in "depth" each level, you should work according to your own experience and comfort.
This routine can be performed daily and is best practiced at an open window with fresh air. Further to respiratory benefits, its practice can also promote blood, lymph, gastrointestinal & general energy movement. It can also be used in preparation for breathing practice and you can find FULL ROUTINES, extensive resources, and in-depth support & guidance in the 'Breathing & Diaphragm' Elements programs: https://www.movemoremp.com/elements
Do not perform if you are menstruating, suffer from high blood-pressure, or have been diagnosed with any illness or disease which may be exacerbated by this practice. If you feel any strong, recurring pain in the abdominal area (this should be distinguished from "discomfort", which is common), cease practice and seek the advice and diagnosis of an appropriate medical professional.
