Fundamental low-gait 'levels' exploration
Locomotion integration, sequencing & improvisation

THE WHAT & HOW:
An improvised context working through 3 distinct levels - 'low-ceiling' bipedal, mid-range to squat (including quadrupedal support), and floor-contact (utilizing '90-90' patterns) . The journey through them, however, is ultimately a seamless blend. Do not be fooled! There are CONCRETE ideas at practice here. It is NOT simply "random" movement. Work for time or songs with only 1 rule in mind - do NOT stop moving.
Elsewhere I have referred to this "place" (these proposed 'levels') as the 'NETHER-REGION'. They are ranges in the world of bipedal (two feet) locomotion, which are often avoided like the depths of hell. The “nether region” begins between slight knee-flexion and 90° (think festival toilet) & extends to a point of “hovering” just above a passive-squat. From there, it recommences between the range of passive squat & floor-entrance, a place where many then find themselves immobilised, unable to locomote (travel through space) in any direction.

Close-floor locomotion exploration / ...
THE WHAT & HOW:
A most fundamental context for quadrupedal locomotion practice: moving through space whilst staying as close to the floor as possible. Whilst in this effort the exploration is predominantly bent-arm oriented (hence its perspective as a practice of 'BAS pushing'), this is not stric...
